Well wonder no more! Helping us make Grab Bags helps us TREMENDOUSLY in the club! If you are a sewer or like to learn how to make an easy sewing project for you or your rock kiddos, here is a fun project to complete together!
If done correctly you should be able to pull string/yarn and be able to close and reopen bag.
First Step...
Take a regular sheet of blank paper size 8 ½ by 11 to use as a pattern.
Trace your piece of fabric over the paper (you can use a pencil) and cut out.
In landscape position, fold fabric in half, it should now be 5 ½ wide by 8 ½ tall
Second Step...
Take 1 inch from both top ends and fold the material over yarn or string. This is for closing the bag.
Carefully sew top down, making sure the string is not caught in the hem. This way the string is in place and saves the trouble of putting it in after you are done sewing.
Third Step...
Sew seam on the bottom and side, stop 1 inch from top
